Keeping The Workplace Drug Free With Mobile Drug Testing

Federal laws are now allowing the corporate companies to conduct mobile drug testing at a random. This is no longer viewed as a violation of the human rights of the employee. Rather, it has been seen as a responsible action of the company to detect and report possible miscreants in the workplace. It has come to the attention of the government that there has been a rise of the people who have been addicted to these substances.

Problems that has been related to the overdose of illegal substances have cost billions of dollars in the businesses annually. It may also affect the overall image of the company and may have an effect on the morals of the people. Manifestations include behavioral and psychological problems in the area.

It has been found that around seventy percent of the users currently hold a job. This has cost the employers at least a hundred billion each year on lost time, accident, health care and the compensation for the person. For smaller businesses, it could cost them thousands on an annual basis. Around sixty five percent of the accidents are related to drugs and alcohol.

The corporate companies have been losing billions in dollars of annual revenue. It is more likely for the addicts to miss work or get sick. Also, a portion of the money will be spent on the training and the replacement of those who have been terminated. Thus, many employers have been requiring their applicants to submit to these tests before employment.

The mind altering drugs reduce the motor skills of the user because the chemicals have a direct effect with the neurological connections in the body. This results to the carelessness of the individual which would be dangerous especially for jobs that are considered risky. Construction in real estate and assembly plants will most likely be affected by workers who continue to use illegal substances.

Should the employee refuses to submit to the policy, then it would be legal to fire the employee based on their own personal preference. However, the firing of the employee should not be done unless the employee has been warned. It is preferred that everything be done in writing which would interpret to the physical things that people have made. The main decision that the company will be making as to which group of employees shall be covered by the examinations

The misuse of the substances can be a serious problem not only for the user, but also for the businesses and corporations that the person is working for. A lot of these people are able to get the things that they are going to need. Many companies are beginning to collaborate with the government on this.

Substances are commonly divided in to cannabinoids, depressants, anesthetics, Opiods and Morphines Stimulants and Others which include steriods, alcohol and nicotine. Many of these drugs can still be detected in the urine sample by the time they get to know the whole thing. One should ensure the best things that they can have.

Numerous mobile drug testing centers help employer avoid and retain human resources. Humans in the company are seen as as someone who could provide the people with the best things in the area. Humans are seen by companies as investments to which the can generate profit through their performance in the company.
