Additionally, one should expect succumbing to injuries every now and then which may be painful but bears positive result in the long term. However, with the game being known to require a lot of aggressiveness, players are usually expected to wear protective gears in addition to regulations that are meant to enhance their safety.

Trying to build a career while still in high school is never easy especially since most people are not sure of what they really want to pursue. In addition, concentrating on the career can be difficult since one is trying to balance their studies with the career and still keep up with a social lifestyle. This requires a lot of time and therefore one may be forced to sacrifice some of the privileges that others enjoy.

It is critical to have support from family and the school as there are moments that they have to compromise and let the game come first. However, one has to prove that they are doing their best to balance their school work and the sport. It is through this that one also gets motivated to keep going one can consider quitting when things get tough.

Moreover, the player must show their willingness to want to play by proving their competency and the ability to maintain the required grade and performance when awarded a scholarship.
